Bradfield Castle Access Project

Work has progressed well over the last few weeks creating new steps and installing gates and handrails for easier access at Bradfield Castle as part of the FIPL (Farming in Protected Landscapes) project. The team began by constructing new steps, removing parts of the existing dry stone walling , before installing the new steps as well as fitting suitable access gates and handrails at several sites in the area. Peak District National Park Rangers will then complete the project by replacing the dry stone walling where required
