Steel Valley Project works with local authorities and landowners to improve access to the countryside for members of the public through the creation of new paths, the maintenance and improvement of existing paths and the promotion of these rights of way to members of the public.
We work closely with Sheffield City Council to keep the rights of way in our operational area well maintained. We have produced on-site and written interpretation to enable people to better understand and value their local environment and heritage.
We also arrange occasional Events, such as the Steel Valley Ride, which promotes access for mountain bikers using the local network of bridleways.
