RYAN HARRISON

Ryan’s main responsibility is the delivery of practical project work supported by the volunteer team.

Ryan also recruits volunteers, delivers training and supervision to regular volunteers, trainees and community groups, maintains the tools and equipment, works with project partners and landowners and ensures careful planning and development of the various project work.

Ryan originally came from a different conservation background studying Archaeology at university, however he decided on a career in environmental conservation as he wanted to help conserve British wildlife and countryside. He has a wealth of experience working for local authorities and charities in the environment sector as a River Steward, Ranger and Countryside Officer.

In his free time Ryan is currently renovating his new home and going hiking around the local area with his partner.
