Managing and creating new habitats for wildlife is a key part of what we do at the Steel Valley Project.

Our operational area has a diverse range of habitats, spanning lowland river valleys, wildflower meadows, woodlands, rocky outcrops and upland heathland.

We undertake many different types of habitat management work with our practical volunteer team. Take a look at Where are we now? to find out about our recent projects, or Volunteering for how you can get involved with our work.
